Our newest program is designed to provide an engaging learning environment that allows children an additional year of social and emotional growth in a preschool setting prior to entering kindergarten or first grade.

Why Transitional Kindergarten?

An extra year of Transitional Kindergarten (TK) creates opportunities to grow cooperation, communication, and problem-solving skills in a smaller group setting before entering a traditional school environment. This allows students to practice finding their voice, cooperating with friends, and strengthening their analytical skills. With this firm foundation, children will go into their next setting with confidence in their voice and capabilities to interact with their peers positively.

Studies show that children learn best through play! Our TK program allows children to gain kindergarten readiness skills (which meet or pass state kindergarten benchmarks) and embraces their interests and passions with project-based work and play. Additionally, they will be learning and strengthening their skills in small groups, allowing for more attention and instruction. Teachers' focus on an engaging learning environment fosters opportunities for children to grow in how they learn. From here, they can present lessons in a way that meets the students where they are. This allows for so much more learning and understanding!

Our TK Class will include daily Enrichment Classes, including music, movement, and Spanish!
